Synopsis for "At the Stroke of Midnight!"

Lou and Marie search the Mansion Lou inherited from the uncle he killed, for the treasure they know he had. Once they find the treasure, and deck themselves out to look like a King and Queen, a mysterious door opens leading to revolutionary France, where the peasants are screaming for the heads of the King and Queen.

Synopsis for "From Beyond the Brink!"

Arthur follows Mr. Hathaway around in an attempt to write his biography. He cannot figure out why Mr. Hathaway is so passionate about debunking seances. Finally, they find a medium he can't prove false. Madame Angelica reveals that the spirits had already told her what he was searching for. He had already been dead for years, and needed help finding the doorway to the afterlife. Arthur is now depressed since no one would believe him if he publishes what he saw.

Synopsis for "A Time to Die!"

Sebastian Scrogg has been trying to create a potion of immortality for years. He shelters a fugitive, Arthur, because he will have to put up with whatever he makes him do, and however he treats him. Arthur assist Sebastian however he can. Eventually, Sebastian realizes that Redwood trees are practically immortal, and using sap from said tree, he finally succeeds. Before he can drink the potion, Arthur kills him, and drinks it himself. He becomes immortal by growing roots and effectively becoming a tree.
