History

Tracy Burke was a renowned but retired journalist (and recovering alcoholic) that Carol Danvers convinced to come work at Woman Magazine where Carol was editor.[1] Tracy was often forced to run the magazine during Carol's absences as Ms. Marvel.[2] Eventually J. Jonah Jameson fired Carol and Tracy was made editor.[3]
