Synopsis for "Part Three: The Passage"
This issue takes place in June 1942.
Isaiah's, Maurice's, and Luke's families were sent reports of their deaths. At the classified location of Project Super Soldier, Colonel Price ordered a thousand units of blood and later, J.J. was injected with the serum before his body combusted, killing him. Later, Larsen came to his fellow soldiers physically mutated by the serum's effects. Three days later, Maurice's and Luke's families mourned them while Faith demanded to see Isaiah's body and was shocked when the casket was opened. At a classified shipyard, the soldiers boarded the HMS Pynchon. In Philadelphia, Mr. Canfield shot and killed Mrs. Canfield before shooting and killing himself.
Onboard the ship, Luke told his men about the Red Summer while Jack had visions of African slaves before dying from the effects of being tested on with the serum.
