Synopsis for "Condemned To Hang"

Ben Horton and the Horton Gang are plotting a robbery, when they are attacked by Two-Gun Kid and Sherriff Barton. Most of the gang escape, with one member being tied up on the floor. Two-Gun goes up to him, and finds out it is actually Boom Boom. Brett Barton arrests him, stating that it is his job to arrest him whether he is guilty or not. Thankfully, Two-Gun, alias Matt Hawk, was a lawyer, and represented Boom Boom at trial. Boom Boom told Matt everything he knew - with him being knocked out and kidnapped previous. In the court, Matt's objections and defences are dismissed by Judge Crass, a usually patient judge, and he sentences Boom Boom to death by hanging. After the sentencing, Two-Gun follows Crass to the Horton Gang, with Crass revealed to be Horton in disguise. Two-Gun frees the real Judge, who is tied to a tree, and takes down the Horton Gang. Boom Boom is then freed from prison.

Reprint of the 1st story from
Two-Gun Kid #62
The Two-gun Kid keep cleaning his town, and was pondering about the advance of civilization and his place in the new order. Nancy Carter told Matthew Hawk that a bully called Moose Morgan was keeping the children from coming to the school. The sheriff told Hawk and Carter that the townsfolk were too scared to register a complaint against Moose, so the law could do nothing. Hawk and Carter stopped Cal Morgan, the brute son of Moose, from bullying and hitting a smaller boy. At this point Moose Morgan came and challenged Hawk. Moose told him that he wanted that Cal had no education( like him), and that no other child should get an education too. Moose knocked Hawk about and Hawk held back, not wanting to reveal his secret identity. Moose stopped at Carter's terrified pleas to call the sheriff. That night, a town meeting was held about what to do with Moose, but Moose came up and challenged all the townspeople, demanding the schoolhouse stay empty. The people went away but Matthew had secretly changed into his costumed identity of Two-Gun Kid and shot away Moose's rifle. A fierce brawl between the two followed with Moose finally knocked unconscious. Two-Gun Kid grabbed Cal and soundly spanked him while the townsfolk put Moose on his mule. The masked vigilante then ordered that Cal supported and respected his father. The two Morgan stooped their trouble and Cal began to go to school, to Nancy happiness.
