History

Lupex became a master of both magic and technology, but such knowledge had a price and it slowly consumed his body. He quickly learned that transferring his essence was a way to survive. Each transfer made him stronger, but shortened the time in which he could use that body. Realizing that this could not go on, Lupex crafted a body composed of both magic and technology, and kept it hidden.

It was during that time that Pyra approached him to become his apprentice and while Lupex accepted her out his own ego, but she rejected him for his physical and grotesque appearance and sought a lover in man known as Klu. Enraged, Lupex took over Klu's body, killing him in the process. Determined to deal as much damage as possible to Lupex, Pyra took the body he had fashioned and gave it a personality, birthing Death's Head. However, before anything could be done, the body was stolen by an unknown party.

Lupex sought to find it for years and it was not until Pyra led him to the Freelancer Peacekeeping Agents that Lupex found his prey. Lupex's teleported Death's Head to his realm and explained his origin before hunting after him, through Styrakos' ever shifting properties. It was however his pride and hunter-like nature that got in the way, and Death's Head was able to outsmart him and take him to a zone where magic didn't work. Lupex was unable to transfer his essence, and Death's Head finally killed him by severing his head.[1]
