Homeless runaways Tyrone Johnson and Tandy Bowen were kidnapped and subjected to experimental drugs. The drugs gave them incredible and terrifying abilities that made them into Cloak & Dagger. With Cloak's dark portals and Dagger's light-knives, the duo vowed to eradicate the drug-dealing gangs of New York and protect other runaway children sharing their fate.[1]
