USS Eldridge (DE-173), a Cannon-class destroyer escort, was a ship of the US Navy used during World War II.

History

Philadelphia Experiment[]

Gen. Fitzhugh Kilroy was the coordinator of Project: Rebirth. He disappeared in October, 1943 after the so-called "Philadelphia Experiment", also known as Project: Vanish.[1] The Philadelphia Experiment's exact purpose still remained a mystery. It was speculated it was to do with either invisibility, teleportation, or time travel.[2] Captain America revealed the truth o what happened to her grandfather Shauna Kilroy.[2]

Alternate Reality Versions[]

A version of the USS Eldridge was pruned by the Time Variance Authority, along with it's crew, where it appeared in the Void and was attacked and consumed by Alioth, leaving it in ruins.[3]
