History
The origin of the teenager known only as the Ultimate Nullifier is mostly a complete mystery. At some point he became the leader of the Teen Brigade who wished to aid the heroes from the shadows as per tradition. Being rebellious young man who loved parties, the Ultimate Nullifier once went clubbing and met with Stacy X and Sugar Kane. The three eventually had a sexual encounter facilitated by the placebo effect assumed by Stacy X's absent mutant pheromone emitting abilities. Their moment was suddenly interrupted by Magneto breaking inside their room to scold Stacy for portraying mutants in a poor light during their time of near-extinction. Ultimate Nullifier confronted Magneto and shot him with his guns, momentarily depowering him. The two fought for a bit before talking about Ultimate Nullifier's motivations, and eventually Magneto left as he went to recover.[3]
Following the brief battle, Ultimate Nullifier went to meet with the Teen Brigade in their temporary headquarters to discuss their course of action. With everyone present, except for America Chavez, Ultimate Nullifier proceeded to give a speech about the Teen Brigade's history and mission, giving great importance to tradition, while none of his teammates was paying him any attention. Angel Salvadore informed him that America Chavez was still on her mission to rescue the In-Betweener in child form. Taking the comms from Angel, Ultimate Nullifier inquired Chavez on her mission status, and was informed that she was being chased by a horde of demons. She managed to fend the demons off and return to the Teen Brigade with the In-Betweener safely secured.[3]
Ultimate Nullifier introduced himself and the Teen Brigade to the In-Betweener, but he found it difficult to converse with the cosmic entity as the latter lamented over his incomprehensible life. The Teen Brigade soon moved to a new base in Chicago, where they were to protect the In-Betweener until their instructor gave them new orders. Wanting to learn more about the In-Betweener, he decided to show his nature to them and put Ultimate Nullifier, Angela and Barnell Bohusk through trips, in one of which Ultimate Nullifier rode the Ultimate Nullifier. These trips were to show how the In-Betweener's life was, filled with serenity, anarchy and the spaces in between, along with his struggle against the demonic horde the Braak'nhud. Ultimate Nullifier was concerned about their vulnerable state at the moment, but the In-Betweener assured them they were safe as he signed America Chavez with his energy to lure their enemies away. The In-Betweener revealed to them that the Braak'nhud and other enemies were after him as they wished to tip over the balance of the universe, causing Ultimate Nullifier to regroup the Teen Brigade.[3]
With their next mission clear, the Teen Brigade set out to battle the other enemies who were after the In-Betweener, all the while keeping things under the rug. However, Ultimate Nullifier and the Teen Brigade came into conflict with the Young Masters who wished to take out the old villains and replace them. The villains they faced were Doctor Octopus, Rhino, Electro and Sandman, with Ultimate Nullifier battling the electric-powered villain. He managed to defeat Electro and Egghead of the Young Masters, and then went to aid the Masters' Black Knight as he became interested with her. He attempted to flirt with her, only for Black Knight to knock him out. This allowed the Radioactive Kid to jump down on him and burn Ultimate Nullifier's face with his hand. Ultimate Nullifier was able to depower Radioactive Kid and get free, and as the Executioner went to strike him America Chavez crashed through to save her teammate.[3]
Despite his scarred face, Ultimate Nullifier went to a club in New York City to track down Black Knight. He managed to entice her and after partying went to the Young Masters' headquarters to have intercourse. In the morning, the two of them talked about their teammates, and Black Knight made it clear that despite what happened last night they were still enemies, though she did leave him access to the Masters' next target. Ultimate Nullifier soon returned to the Teen Brigade and although he gained new info Angela scolded him for sleeping with the enemy. The Teen Brigade learned that the Young Masters were headed to Latveria, and decided to also go there, but not before being joined by their informant Agent Jack Truman.[3]
The Teen Brigade traveled to Latveria and there Ultimate Nullifier and Agent Truman sneaked to a party which was immediately crashed by the Young Masters. Ultimate Nullifier reacted fast and fought through the chaos to the balcony where he met Kristoff Vernard masquerading as Doctor Doom. In that moment he interrupted the Executioner from killing Vernard, declaring that would be no murder. Unfortunately, the In-Betweener appeared out of nowhere and with him came the Braak'nhud. The demons proceeded to takeover all of Latveria, forcing Ultimate Nullifier and the others to fight them all.[3]
Luckily, America Chavez arrived just in time accompanied by She-Hulk and Daimon Hellstrom. The Executioner attempted to kill the In-Betweener, only to be taken down by Ultimate Nullifier again. As he pondered whether to shoot the Executioner with his guns, the In-Betweener told him to not get sidetracked as no matter how many evil people he fought, evil could never be completely squashed as both good and evil need each other to survive. Pushed to the edge, Ultimate Nullifier had enough and shot his power nullifying bullets at the In-Betweener.[3]
This caused reality around them to shift and twist, as balance reconstituted itself. Following that, both sides went back home, and on their way Ultimate Nullifier assured Truman that he was already confident and didn't need public attention to assure him he was cool. In the aftermath, Ultimate Nullifier had another one night stand with a woman, but while he slept he was awakened by the In-Betweener. Upon waking up, Ultimate Nullifier texted to America to talk for a bit, ending their conversation by reminding her the Teen Brigade's purpose.[3]
Some time later, when America joined the Young Avengers, a construct of Ultimate Nullifier was unwittingly manifested by the guilt of her teammate Loki, and he served as an opposite of Chavez in a team comprised of other constructs of the Young Avengers' exes. The constructs fought the Young Avengers, until Loki confessed to his teammates his wrongdoings, causing the exes to fade away.[4]Attributes
