Synopsis for "Absolute Power (Part 4)"

15 years ago in the Savage Land, Professor X and Magneto are revealed to have created Banshee from Wolverine's DNA, with Charles personally testing it out on himself while in the jungle of the Savage Land.

While it helps him survive against a dinosaur by giving him some of Wolverine's powers (i.e. healing factor, claws and heightened senses), Charles tells the delighted Magneto that the drug is unstable.

After Eric points out that Charles had used it with no side effects, Xavier admits that while his mind can resist the unstable drug's addictiveness, other minds won't be so fortunate as they eye the captive Wolverine in the tank in front of them.

As they do, Erik questions if Logan will remember any of this, to which Charles promises that he won't. In the present, Charles is on Muir Island thinking about this event as Moira approaches him.

After she asks him if he's alright, Charles assures her that he is. Back in Russia, Colossus furiously attacks Wolverine, the latter having literally cut Peter's heart out, much to Wolverine's shock as Peter is still able to function without said organ.

Filled with rage as he keeps pounding Logan, Piotr orders Angel, Dazzler, Cyclops, Rogue and Nightcrawler to pound Storm and the others into the ground.

Completely poisoned and corrupted by Banshee, the other drug using X-Men begin doing exactly that, with Storm being taken down by Dazzler using a chain of solid light while Iceman confronts Rogue and Hank battles Cyclops.

Desperately, Hank pleads with his fellow teammate, only for Scott to jeer at him and point out Hank and the others are pulling their punches while he and the other corrupted X-Men aren't.

Not far off, Bobby manages to briefly subdue the corrupted and drug poisoned Rogue with ice, only for Rogue to break free, telling him that he doesn't know what she's capable of before kissing Bobby, only to be driven away by Liz shooting flames at her.

Nearby, Kurt, still free of Banshee's corruptive influence, desperately tries to wake the still unconscious Jean while the enraged Colossus amputates one of Wolverine's legs, causing the latter to scream in pain.

However, before the fighting can continue, Northstar, revealed to still be alive, but paralyzed from the waist down, arrives and desperately tells the shocked Colossus to stop, telling him the Banshee in him is causing all of this.

Shocked that his boyfriend is indeed alive, Colossus and the rest of his drug poisoned and corrupted X-Men finally come to their senses, with Piotr apologizing tearfully and emotionally before the now awake Jean comes up and comforts him, vowing to help him.

As both teams prepare to leave, Bobby notices that Cyclops isn't there, with Jean noting that Scott isn't coming home yet as she notices him flying into the sky.

Back at the mansion, Jean has soon helped Colossus put his heart back into place, Wolverine laying on the table next to them. Upon being asked by Colossus if he'll be able to change into armored form again, Jean admits she's not sure if he will. Hearing this, Piotr admits it's a fitting punishment for his foolish actions, though Jean assures him that he only did what he figured was right and no one will blame him for that.

After Jean departs, Logan and Piotr talk, with Logan telling Colossus he plans on finding and shutting down Banshee's production but can't do it without Peter's help. While admitting he truly doesn't know who the supplier is, Colossus hands him a vial and suggests he might get said person's scent off it.

In space, Cyclops, without any sort of protection, is shown admiring the stars when Jean arrives. As they fight, Scott begins to lose his newfound powers as the Banshee is wearing off and begs Jean to just let him die than suffer having to depend on his glasses and/or visor to control his optic blasts again. However, Jean convinces him to come home and stop poisoning himself with Banshee.

Back on Earth, a very enraged Wolverine arrives on Muir Island and confronts Xavier, who's undergoing his physical therapy. Though Logan accuses the Professor of both using his DNA to create Banshee and sell it, Xavier reveals he only did the former and shut down Banshee's production after discovering its' instability and addictive side-effects.

As Wolverine wonders who's been making and selling Banshee, Moira, to the shock of the duo, admits she's the culprit, having started to sell said drug to fund her research and care of her patients.

Making it clear she isn't going to let Logan destroy her operation, Moira reveals she's also used Banshee herself as she floors Logan and Xavier with a sonic scream. She then tells her shocked and dismayed ex-husband that her facility is her dream, and she'll defend it to the death, even stooping to poisoning herself with Banshee.

Upon being told that the facility has a teleporter, Wolverine tells Xavier to find said person and have them get Xavier and the other patients out of the building.

Despite Moira's attempts to stop him, Wolverine manages to approach Moira while Xavier finds the young teleporter and offers to help her get everybody out of harm's way. As this happens, Wolverine throws Moira into a room containing vats of Banshee.

Though Moira protests that she's protecting mutants, Logan counters by revealing that Banshee is made of several items found in basic meth labs. Despite her horrified protests, Moira can only watch as Logan opens the glass tanks and then creates a spark with his claws, causing the Banshee to explode, sending him into the ocean.

Not long after, Moira's employer is revealed to be Magneto and Quicksilver, the latter of whom informs Moria that his father has another alternative to deal with humanity.
