Synopsis for "His Father's Son"
Jimmy Hudson is a fearless teenager, who one night, while drag racing, accidentally crashed his car, coming out of the wreckage alive, and without a bruise within seconds. The next day, Jimmy is awaken by Kitty Pryde. Kitty brings Jimmy into a shed, where she gives Jimmy the box Wolverine gave to her to give him in case he died during Ultimatum, which he did.
Inside the box is Wolverine's dog tags, a magazine about the X-Men, a hair from Jean Grey, and a small machine. Jimmy sets the machine down, and presses a button on it, revealing a holographic message from Wolverine. In the message, Wolverine reveals to Jimmy that he is his father. Kitty then tells Jimmy that he is a mutant. Kitty tells him that he may have inherited some of Wolverine's mutant powers. Jimmy then tries to release his claws, and has to concentrate. Releasing his claws along with a pool of blood and pain, the pain soon soothes and calms down, and later Jimmy feels no pain at all. Jimmy then somehow creates a metallic substance that covers his claws. Kitty mentions that he might be able to create metal like Colossus did to his skin. Jimmy is fully convinced: He is Wolverine's son.
