Synopsis for 1st story
Two weeks ago, Tony Stark cracked the Maker's Council's Overnet, a quantum-encrypted internal communications system, in which he discovered a Damage Control black site holding over a dozen super-powered prisoners, who are set to be executed in response to the Ultimates' activities. Tony sees an opportunity to stop the execution and rescue the prisoners.
He assembles the entire Ultimates Network, except for Doom who remains at their headquarters, to attack the black site. But upon breaching the black site's vault, the Ultimates pass through a portal to the Immortal City of K'un-Lun and they do not find the prisoners, but the Hulk and the Immortal Weapons. They have been lured into a trap in which they lose contact from Doom, preventing him from teleporting the Ultimates to safety.
Lejori immediately attacks Hulk as she has not forgotten what Banner did to her island. The Hulk easily dodges her swings before knocking her out with a Chi-enhanced punch. He then offers the Ultimates his tea, which is poisoned with a type of flower that can kill a person quickly and painlessly, in preference over direct combat. But the Ultimates prepare for battle which prompt the Immortal Weapons to inject themselves with Gamma radiation, turning themselves into Hulks. Meanwhile, Doom desperately searches for the Ultimates before reestablishing contact with Tony's armor.
A fierce melee ensues in which the Ultimates soon find themselves on the losing end against the Hulks. Only Wasp manages to kill Fat Cobra by growing out of his body after he swallowed her. Hulk brutally pummels Tony until he crushed him in his armor. Lejori recovers and lunges at Hulk, but only to have her right hand torn off by Hulk. Just as Hulk prepares to execute Lejori, Doom uses the Immortus Engine to teleport the wounded Ultimates back to the Triskelion. Upon their return, Lejori cries out to everyone that Tony is dead.
