History
Based on Iron Man's enemy Ultimo, this remotely controlled battle suit created by A.I.M. was used by Norman Osborn to try and capture Iron Man so he could take his armor off. When the New Avengers arrived, they fought the android. Osborn ordered to self destruct Ultimo after a smaller robot detached from it to take a blood sample of Wolverine.[2]
The armor was rebuilt and faced Iron Man in San Francisco, where it was again defeated.[3] It was later reconfigured and let loose in Greece by an morally-inverted "Superior" Iron Man to keep Blue Marvel busy while he and his group of as well inverted Avengers dealt with the other Mighty Avengers. It was shattered to pieces by Blue Marvel in the Aegean Sea.[1]Notes
- Reassembled in a populated area in Greece, Ultimo was deemed a Level Five Emergency by Blue Marvel, stating that "people [would] die unless" he went to stop it.[1]
