- Despite the claims that Hardcase was removed from the Ultraverse since the Infinity Effect in Black September, several references to him exist in the Ultraverse since then. Hardcase was seen or mentioned in UltraForce (Vol. 2) #1, All New Exiles #2, and Prime (Vol. 2) #4. The first indication that Hardcase was removed from the Ultraverse reality came from Phoenix Resurrection: Genesis #1, when the Alternate failed to completely remember Hardcase.
