Ulysses Klaue (Earth-12041) from Ultimate Spider-Man (animated series) Season 1 2 001

Klaw is a supervillain made of sound. He's a member of the Frightful Four, they attacked Peter Parker's high school searching for Spider-Man, after Trapster implanted a tracer in the hero during a fight which took place hours before.He and the other member Frightful Four battled spider-man but retreated when the cops arrived as they were not paid to fight cops.[2] The next time he battled Spider-Man is when he quit from S.H.I.E.L.D. Trainees and when the other trainees came to help Spider-Man. While falling from the building he was saved by Spider-Man who left her hanging upside down.[3] He is kept in S.H.I.E.L.D custody.[4][5] He is seen again when Spider-Man is fighting Venom.[6]

Revealed[]

Klaw was with the Frightful Four when they invade an Oscorp warehouse and end up fighting Spider-Man's team. It soon turns out that the Frightful Four had set a trap where they escape while Spider-Man's team are attacked by Octobots.[7]

Avengers Assemble[]

Defeated by Hawkeye

Klaw, Wizard and Trapster battle the Avengers member Hawkeye. They are easily defeated and attached to a wall as he waits for the police.[8]

Second Chance Hero[]

Spider-Man finds Norman Osborn in the Iron Patriot armor fighting the Frightful Four on a rooftop. During the fight with the Frightful Four, Trapster places the bombs on the the Iron Patriot armor which disables him causing Spider-Man to resume the fight. It was just a strategy play by Iron Patriot to defeat the Frightful Four. Norman Osborn claims that he was making amends for the incident where they attacked Midtown High.[9]

Back in human form

At some point, Klaue regained his physical human form and began operating as a black arms dealer from a scrapyard on the coast of Africa. He was in the middle of a Vibranium heist until he ends up fighting the Avengers and the Thunderbolts. While fleeing from them, Klaw runs into Citizen V who was the one who secretly hired him to steal the Vibranium. Upon being defeated, Citizen V places a device on Klaw's unconscious body and some on the Vibranium containers. Later on, the device goes off which merges Klaw with the Vibranium turning him into a Vibranium version of himself. It took the Avengers and the Thunderbolts to defeat him. When Citizen V is outed to be Baron Helmut Zemo, he uses the remnants of Klaw's energies to merge with it to form a giant energy monster that resembles Klaw. With help from Songbird, Captain America was able to cause the energy monster to fall apart. Afterwards, Captain America is suspicious that they haven't seen the last of Baron Zemo.[1]

Panther's Rage[]

Klaue hired Crossbones to attack Black Panther (T'Challa) when he spoke before an the United Nations, Captain America protected the assembly from Crossbones who has been hired to take out T'Challa. After helping Cap to take out Crossbones, T'Challa made off with Cap's shield claiming that it was stolen property. Cap to brought in the Avengers for help and they traveled to Wakanda in order to reclaim it. During the confrontation, Black Panther claimed that Howard Stark stole Vibranium in order to make Cap's shield. To make matters worse, a reassembled Klaw appeared and made off with Cap's shield upon using a sound attack on the group. Both sides worked to find Klaw Cap told to Black Panther that T'Chaka gave the Vibranium to Howard to make into Cap's shield. Tracking him to a hideout in the Himalayas, the Avengers and Black Panther engaged Klaw in an armor made out of Vibranium. With a special tactic, the Avengers and Black Panther were able to knock Klaw out of the armor as Black Panther planned to make Klaw answer for his crimes. With Klaw's Vibranium armor in Wakandan custody, Black Panther changes his opinion of the Avengers and is offered reserve membership into the group.[10]
