A man works for a miser who cheats people on real estate deals until he gets so fed up with his boss selling run down dumps to kindly old folks that he kills him and shores up the floor support in the cellar with the man's body.

Synopsis for "The Phantom Gladiator"
A thief, Ben Parker, is forced to flee the US to Rome. While in Rome he attempts to steal from a museum and insults the spirits of the land by yelling that he was a match for any Roman. While escaping to the Roman coliseum is confronted by the spirit of a large gladiator and the Emperor Nero who gives Ben a thumbs down. Ben faints and is awoken by a police officer who doesn't realize Ben was apart of a robbery. Ben goes to a hotel, but when alone again he is confronted by the ghostly gladiator and is killed for his boast.
