Synopsis for "I Live With Corpses"

A cemetery watchman gets his chance to escape his job when a bank robber asks him to hide him from the police. The robber tells the watchman about an inventor who has a time machine that will send one person fifty years into the future. The watchman kills the robber and takes his place. The machine works and the watchman finds money is now useless and people only work jobs they have experience in so, even though there are no new deaths among people who live forever, the watchman is forcibly placed back into his old job.

Burt steals a Squealie from the Martians because it can see the future but it tells him he is going to die tomorrow at nine o'clock in his own home. Burt inadvertently brings this about when he attempts to ride in his spaceship until the hour is past but runs out of fuel and crashes into his own home.
