The origins of the Undergrounders is unknown, they are a species that is unique to the planet Earth of Reality-4263. They are a subterranean race that in the year 2050 were led by a tyrant who called himself the "Fuhrer". They attempted to invade the United States. Their invasion was countered by the US military led by Captain Daring. Daring and his allies eventually won the battle, with the Fuhrer dieing in combat. Daring's colleague Susan Parker became the new ruler of the Undergrounders.
