History

The Undertow were a terrorist organization led by the creature Protocol. They implanted devices in their superhuman operatives the Soldiers of Misfortune to control their actions.

Namorita was press ganged into serving the Undertow as their agent Hard for many months until she was freed by Night Thrasher. Cardinal's ex-girlfriend Sparrow was also forced into service...it is unclear if she or the other agents were ever freed from the control of the Undertow.
