History
Origins[]
The Unnameable One was a dark elder god[1] and an evil deity, whose material symbol was the Black Shadow,[2] a demon-god.[3]
Pre-Cataclysmic Age[]
During the Pre-Cataclysmic Age, circa 18,500 BC the Black Shadow was worshiped in the hinterlands of Valusia,[3] notably in the mountain city ruled by Thuron,[1] its high priest.[3]
As King Kull of Valusia marched on the city in his crusade to put an end to the human sacrifices to the dark elder god.
As he was upon to unleash the Black Shadow upon two sacrifices, Gallio and Irena, Thuron was stung and killed by a scorpion (seemingly thanks to the intervention of the Great Scorpion god). Kull's liberation army entered the city instants after Thuron's death.[1]
Hyborian Age[]
The Black Shadow returned in the Hyborian Age and was confronted by Conan.[4]Attributes
