Powers

An Omega-level mutant, Omega is a mutant with vast psionic powers, and one of the most powerful mutants to ever exist, if not the most powerful. After Omega achieved the conscious use of his fully developed powers at their maximum potential, he possessed tremendous telepathic powers, nearly unlimited telekinetic powers, the ability to fire enormously powerful energy blasts, and the ability to rearrange the molecular structure of matter, even up to a galactic scale. His powers are so great that he has been compared to the Celestials rather than other mutants in terms of power.

Astral Plane Tap: The ability to tap into the enormous psychic resources of the Astral Plane in order to boost psychic abilities, allowing greater manipulation of matter and energy.

  • Astral Plane Alteration: Omega is able to control the Astral Plane itself, which only the most powerful telepaths can do.
  • Astral Possession: Omega is able to possess other beings while on the astral plane.
  • Astral Projection: The ability to travel and communicate with others astrally through his own will, or through contact with the thoughts and memories of others. In the astral realm, he can use his powers to create "ectoplasmic" objects and alter his environment. He cannot, however, engage in long range astral projection on the material plane.
  • Astral Teleportation: Omega possesses the ability to teleport over long distances by psychokinetically shunting himself in and out of the Astral Plane. He is capable of carrying additional weight, such as another person, when he teleports, but his limits have never been fully tested.
  • Astral Travel: The ability to forge psi-links to travel in astral form
  • Material Astral Projection: The ability to give substance to astral energy to solidify psychic forms or forge protective psi-armor, and even pull the astral projections of other telepaths into the physical world.

Dream-Self Projection: Omega possesses the ability to place himself in a trance-like state which remaining fully conscious. While he is in this trance, he can project an intangible, ghost-like image of himself to another location, through which he can see and hear what goes on at the location. What Omega has called the “dreams” he has while in this state are not truly dreams, but his conscious awareness of the environment into which he has projected his “dream-self.”

Phoenix Force Tap: Due to his vast psionic abilities Omega is destined to be an avatar of the Phoenix Force and its cosmic powers (including heightened psi-powers, the ability to manipulate energy and lifeforces, and a limited cosmic awareness). Until that time comes, however, he possesses a residual "echo" or "shadow" of the Phoenix Force, which is less powerful, but easier to control.

  • Dimensional Sense: Due to his link with the Phoenix Force, the cosmic nexus of all realities, Omega possess the ability to sense dimensional rifts or anomalies.

Precognitive Dreams: Omega possesses potent precognitive abilities, which manifest themselves in his dreams, enabling him to envision possible future events. Although there are countless possible futures, Omega foresees the most probable future path, and therefore his dreams usually come true. Unfortunatly, Omega cannot foresee events more than roughly a few days in the future. Omega's precognitive powers have, over time, developed to the point at which he could see images of future events even when conscious.

Psychic Intelligence: Omega possesses advanced cognitive and mental abilities allowing him to organize and construct his thoughts at accelerated rates, process data at high speeds, construct and formulate his thoughts with vast quantity and quality, project ideas and impressions into the minds of others, disable existing psychic phenomena, and naturally shield him from psychic assaults.

Psychometry: The ability to read residual thought imprints left on objects touched by people, allowing him to know many of the events concerning the object, such as its previous owners, events that took place around the object, and the possible future of the object and its future owners.

  • Psychometric Projections: The ability to mentally project past events.

Telepathy: Omega is a telepath of the highest order. His telepathy has proven great enough in power and scope so as to allow him to read and communicate thoughts across vast distances, interface with multiple minds simultaneously, and manipulate the minds of others and even higher order animals within a vast, potentially limitless radius.

  • Telepathic Defense: Omega can manifest his telepathy in a number of defensive ways.
    • Cloak Mind: The ability to rearrange the mental engrams of mutants so their distinctive mutant thought patterns cannot be detected by Cerebro-type devises or by other telepaths.
    • Psionic Shield: The ability to erect a psychic shield for protection of himself and other minds.
    • Psychic Shadow: Omega is able to mask himself, and other peoples' presence, from those around him. His abilities and telepathic signature were almost impossible to track, even for a telepath as powerful as Charles Xavier.
    • Telepathic Cloak: He can mask his presence and the use of his abilities from being detected by other mutants and psychic entities. He can extend these defenses to others around him as well. Cloaking via telepathy is not perfect and powerful telepathic mutants may notice and 'see' through this ability.
  • Telepathic Illusions: He can create realistic telepathic illusions and cause people to experience events which are not actually occurring.
    • Telepathic Camouflage: He can alter the apparent physical appearance of himself and others by altering the perceptions of those around him. This can go so far as to make other people believe that the camouflaged people are not there (invisible). The only limit to this ability, if one exists, is only imposed by the number of people he is trying to fool, not the number of people he is actually camouflaging.
  • Telepathic Manipulation: He can manipulate other people's minds easily, achieving a variety of effects.
    • Absorb Information: The ability to quickly process and store information, by mental transference.
    • Dark Psyche: Omega has shown the ability to release the dark side of a person's personality, and make them evil.
    • Dilate Power: The ability to place “psychic inhibitors” in the minds of mutant adversaries to prevent them from using their powers.
    • Download Information: The ability to place large amounts of information in another's mind.
    • Heal Trauma: The ability to erase a person’s memories and to heal mental trauma through “psychic surgery,” the power to stimulate or deaden the pain and pleasure centers in a person's brain.
    • Induce Pain: Omega can also induce mental pain merely by touching the brow of his victim.
    • Intuitive Multilingual: Omega is capable of intuitively translating new languages.
    • Mass Manipulation: The ability to subtly use deep influence upon multiple people, allowing him to manipulate their perceptions, better judgment, wills and common sense.
    • Mental Amnesia: He can erase any awareness of particular memories or cause total amnesia.
    • Mental Detection: He can sense the presence of another superhuman mutant within a small but as yet undefined radius of himself by perceiving the distinctive mental radiations emitted by such a being.
    • Mental Paralysis: He can induce temporary mental or physical paralysis.
    • Mental Sedating: Omega can telepathically "sedate" his victims so that, if already rendered unconscious, they remain so for as long as he continues to "sedate" them.
    • Mind Alteration: Omega also possesses the ability to alter the minds of others by sheer force of will, permanently changing their personality either partially or entirely.
    • Mind Control: He can control the thoughts and actions of others.
    • Mind Link: The ability to develop a mental link with any person, which remains as a connection to that individual long after the link itself is broken.
    • Mind Transferal: Omega is able to transfer both his mind and powers into other host bodies should his own physical body somehow be killed.
    • Neural Jumpstart: He can increase the speed of neural signals in the brain, allowing him to increase another mutant's powers to incredible levels, but the effect is only temporary.
    • Possession: Omega can possess the mind of another, and use that being's body, and any powers it may possess, as his own.
    • Psionic Siphoning: Omega has been known to siphon the psychic energies from other psionic mutants. He could then use the stolen psychic energy to either boost his own powers or channel the energy into someone else to temporarily increase their psionic abilities.
    • Telepathic Tracking: Enhanced psionic senses enable Omega to detect and track other sentient beings by their unique psionic emanations (thought patterns contained in the psionic portion of the spectrum), especially if they pose a threat to his well-being in his immediate vicinity.

Telekinesis: Telekinetically, Omega is capable of very fine control over objects; he can disassemble complex devices explosively (separating every last component, such as screws, nuts, circuit boards, etc.), and just as quickly and easily assemble complex devices. This also has enabled him to even attain awareness and control over objects as small as individual electrons in an atom. For instance, Omega could detect if a seal was hermetic or not by checking for the presence of penetrating oxygen molecules. He could even detect and discern individual oxygen molecules and determine the atomic weight of molecules by the amount of atoms present. By using his telekinesis to levitate himself, Omega can fly at incredible speeds. He can create and sustain shields that can withstand volcanic eruptions, Jovian atmospheric pressures and the vacuum of space, repel the effects of multiple nuclear weapons, attacks from several mutants and sentinels simultaneously, filter any bacteria or toxins from the air, and even crush objects within them by causing them to collapse; he was once able to collapse a force field and the matter within to such an infinitesimal point that he created a micro black hole. In addition, Omega's psionic fine-motor control allows him to manipulate matter on the sub-atomic level: having demonstrated the ability to alter molecular valences, and even rewrite his own genome. On a larger scale, Omega can easily levitate great weights, well into the thousands of tons, but his upper limit has remained untested; he was once able to levitate an entire city weighing tens, possibly even hundreds of millions (if not billions), of tons with great strain.

  • Bio-kinetic Flame: Omega's body constantly creates and unleashes psionic charges of enormously powerful energy that is typically radiated harmlessly into the Astral Plane; however, if he chooses to channel the energy into this world instead it can strike with massive concussive force, act as generic, high-intensity flame, or cause inanimate objects to explode violently by forcibly disrupting their molecular bonds. Omega cannot, however, actively affect molecules containing carbon in that same explosive manner, but those molecules are still very vulnerable to a direct, concussive hit with his biokinetic flame. When Omega realizes his full potential he can heal all but instantly fatal wounds to his own body and use his blasts in a number of different ways, such as flight.
    • Bio-Blasts: Omega can fire enormously powerful energy blasts which are generated from his body's extrasensory potential. The amount of energy that can be channeled through is only dependent on the amount of bio-kinetic energy Omega's body can generate; once Omega reaches his full potential, that energy can be wielded with sufficient destructive force to destroy a planet.
    • Psionic Flame: Omega can manifast his psionic energy as fire, whose flames could generate intense heat, combustion and concussive blasts by stimulating heat molecules, or inflict mental damage by causing the victim pain, unconsciousness, or even rendering someone brain-dead. When affecting physical matter, he burns his targets at the sub-molecular level; thus no ashes or other combustive by-products are produced. Omega's flames are different from flames that are usually created by common pyrokinetics: because is flames are psionic in nature and thus independant of oxygen, he can create flames under seemingly impossible conditions like underwater or even in the vacuum of space.
      • Force Spikes: The ability to generate destructive psionic energies that destroy the physical objects the energies come into contact with.
      • Inanimate Disintegration: The ability to cause inanimate objects in their presence to disintegrate.
      • Mind Blasts: Omega can project psionic energies which have no physical effects, but affect a victim's mind so as to cause the victim pain, unconsciousness, or even render someone brain-dead.
    • Telekinetic Blade: A refined use of his bio-kinetic flame, by intensely channeling and focusing his psionic powers to his hands, Omega can manifest a razor-sharp blade, such as a knife or katana, composed of raw mental energy, which at its lowest intensity functions to disrupt neural pathways of a foe and sever the bonds between molecules, and at its highest level can slice through the armor of an opponent while leaving the opponent physically unharmed. They can also be used to shatter telepathic power-inhibitors imposed on others and reveal any thoughts that were originally shielded from his telepathic powers, including those of other telepaths.
    • Vitakinesis: Omega is capable of harnessing his bio-kinetic flame to control the biological structure of his own body, even to the point of being capable of rewriting his genetic structure at will, allowing him to heal physical damage done to his body, repair cerebral functions, and alter the composition of his own molecules in certain ways. He is capable of healing broken bones, severe burns, damaged tissue, even mortal wounds through the chest. Once he achieves full control over this power he will be able to affect other people in a similar manner.
  • Concussive Blasts: Omega can project telekinetic energies as powerful blast beams directed from the brain that affect matter with concussive force.
  • Dimensional Teleportation: Omega has even learned that he could use telekinesis to transport himself into other dimensions by mentally bending the dimensional barriers that separate one reality from another. The distances which he can teleport is infinitly limitless.
    • Hyperspacial Teleportation: Omega can teleport through hyperspace from one place in the universe to another by forcefully tearing a hole in space-time to open up wormhole and travel through it. While the total distance he can travel is limited only to the size of the universe itself, the navigational accuracy of the wormhole is proportionately lessened the farther apart the mouths of the wormhole are.
  • Electromagnetic Pulses: He also has creative uses of his powers such as using his telekinesis to channel the Earth's magnetic field through the electro-current of the brain and generate devastating electromagnetic pulses that have the potential to disable virtually any form of technology, stop entire armies, and even change the course of rivers by altering the polarity within a localized area. These pulses also have the ability to kill a person by irreversably disrupting the bio-electrical systems of the body if not carfully controlled. By channeling only trace amounts of Earth's magnetic field into his brain, he can achieve more fine-tuned manipulation of magnetic fields.
    • Electromagnetic Sight: By concentrating, Omega can perceive the world around himself as patterns of magnetic and electrical energy, and he can perceive the natural magnetic auras surrounding living beings.
    • Magnetic Flight: The ability to fly by either gliding along the planet's natural magnetic lines of force or simply creating a repulsive force between the user(s) and the planet.
    • Magnetic Force-Fields: Omega can erect powerful force fields that can be quickly expanded to protect large areas, or even used to suspend objects in the air. These fields are typically used in conjunction with his psionic-based force fields to create nigh-impenetrable shields.
    • Metallic Bonding: Omega has recently developed the power to atomically bond metallic substances to any designated surface material, allowing him to blend metallic alloys with the earth, water, and even air.
    • Organic Iron Manipulation: Omega can control the traces of iron within organic matter, which allows him to have full control over an opponent's body. He can manipulate the iron-enriched blood-flow to one's brain to induce aneurysms or unconsciousness, alter thoughts and perceptions, or blank a person's mind completely. He can even remove ferrous compounds from the bloodstream entirely through a person's skin.
    • Superhuman Stamina: By drawing on Earth’s magnetic field, Omega can dramatically increase the overall efficiency of his musculature. While enhanced in this way, his muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins than the musculature of a normal human, allowing for far greater endurance during physical activity.
    • Superhuman Strength: Omega can channel the vast amounts of magnetic energy contained in Earth’s EM through his body for the purpose of granting vast superhuman strength of undefined limits.
  • Enhance Physical Traits: The ability to use telekinesis to enhance speed, strength and fighting skills to super-human levels.
  • Force Fields: The ability to create protective force shields that could deflect even the most powerful of attacks, sustain titanic amounts of pressure, and even filter bacteria and toxins from the air. These fields are so powerful that they can cross the event horizon of a black hole without any harm to their contents. He can vary the thickness, texture, and tensile strength of his energy field to some extent, rendering it thick and highly rigid or as soft and yielding as a thin layer of foam. He can also generate and manipulate multiple psionic force fields simultaneously.
  • Invisibility: Omega can render himself wholly or partially invisible at will. He can also render other people or objects invisible, affecting up to forty thousand cubic feet of volume. He achieves these feats by mentally bending all wavelengths of light in the vicinity around himself or the target in question, and he does this with such finesse as to prevent any visible distortion effects; he also directs enough undistorted light to his eyes to retain his full range of vision while invisible.
  • Matter Manipulation: Omega's vast psionic abilities allow him to manipulate all matter and energy on a subatomic level, reconfigure all forms of matter into different substances and forms, reconfigure molecular structures at will, and convert matter into energy and back again, allowing him to accomplish virtually anything he can concieve of on a cosmic scale.
    • Phasing: Omega possesses the ability to pass through solid matter by passing his atoms through the spaces between the atoms of the object through which he is moving. In this way he and the object through which he is passing can temporarily merge without interacting, and each is unharmed when Omega has finished passing through the object. When Omega is phasing, he is, for all intents and purposes, intangible. Hence, when attacked, he can shift into a "phased" state (even if he is not at the time passing through an object) so as to allow oncoming projectiles or energy blasts to pass through him harmlessly. Omega passes through objects at the same rate of speed at which he is moving before he "enters" it.
      • Phasing Extension: Omega is capable of phasing other objects along with himself without causing harm to them. However, he must maintain physical contact with the people or objects he phases along himself for the effect to work with this other person or object.
      • Telepathic Resistance: Omega's thoughts are highly erratic when phased, as if there is no mind to telepathically affect.
    • Power Bestowal: Omega has demonstrated the ability to bestow powers onto living beings by reconstructing their molecular structure. He can also take away these powers away by returing their molecular structure to the way is was before hand.
    • X-Gene Activation/Negation: Omega can even manipulate molecular structures to activate latent mutant genes in an individual, granting them active mutant powers. Once given in this way, these abilities can also be taken away by returning the appropriate genes to their latent states.
  • Reality Warping: Omega possesses the ability to telekinetically warp the quantum fields that make up reality within a very localized area beyond recognition if desired.
  • Telekinetic Flight: By telekinetically levitating himself, Omega can fly overy very long distances at hypersonic speeds; however he doesn't typically travel via this method, preferring instead a means of technological transportation.
  • Telekinetic Holograms: His fine motor skills are so incredibly acute that he can mentally manipulate dust particles and water vapor to refract lightwaves and create holograms.
  • Telekinetic Sensitivity: The ability to feel the texture of objects Omega has a telekinetic hold on, feel when other objects come into contact with them, and probe them at a molecular level to identify if they contain alien materials or feel when two things which he has a telekinetic hold upon are similarly composed.
  • Time Travel: Much like his ability to travese dimensions, Omega possesses the power to telekinetically displace himself and others at almost any specific point in the past or future of the timestream and then reemerging in the physical world from as much as a few minutes to years by generating chronal energies. He does this by "peeling" back the layers of time, however an ungodly amount of concentration is required, and the range of time periods he can travel to is limited; he can only travel to the immediate future and the immediate past. He can travel in astral form as well, with much less strain and a far greater range of travel.
    • Chrono-Shield: Omega's mind unconsciously emanates of a fourth-dimensional pulse that protects him from changes in the timeline.
    • Chronoskimming: Omega has the ability to temporarily transplant a person's mind and send it through time into a younger/older version, or a close ancestor/descendant, or as a disembodied astral form. This is accomplished through the combination of two powers: telepathy and chronokinesis.

      Abilities

Genius-level Intellect: Omega is a brilliant, virtually peerless scientist, strategist, tactician, and commander; he is widely regarded as one of the keenest analytical minds on the planet. His highly advanced intellect gives him almost superhuman calculating skills, amazing memory and exceptional scientific know-how. He has played three-dimensional chess against three of the world's most powerful supercomputers and won, solved every equation in an advanced differential calculus textbook within minutes, resisted hypnotism and illusion-assisted brainwashing, and he has adapted numerous inventions and experiments.

  • Inventor: Omega is an inventive prodigy, constantly creating new technologies and looking for ways to improve them. He possesses hundreds of thousands of devices that he directly created himself, including a working time machine, devices which can imbue people with superpowers, and numerous types of robots. He can instill genetic mind-control, create adult clones of human beings, and then manipulate the genetic structures of these clones during their development. He has designed revolutionary aircraft and spacecraft, complex robots and computers, clean-energy generators, artificial living beings, machines capable of nullifying mutant powers within a radius of several hundred miles, and space stations said to possess technology even the top scientists on Shi'ar would envy.
  • Master Tactician and Strategist: Omega's remarkable ingenuity helps him deal with difficult situations such as difficult foes and deathtraps where he is capable of using his available tools in unorthodox and effective ways. When Omega's vitals were monitored during a training session, it was reported that Omega's physical and mental state as "equivalent to an Olympic-level gymnast performing two Gold-medal-winning routines whilst simultaneously beating eight chess computers in his head", which gives something of an idea of the level of sophistication and tactical processing Omega is capable of utilizing while in combat.
  • Polymath: Omega's most dangerous weapon is his genius-level intellect, easily being one of the top mortal minds on the planet, and possessing an intimate mastery of electrical, mechanical and aerospace engineering, electronics, chemistry, all levels of physics, robotics, cybernetics, genetics, weapons technology, biochemistry, and time travel. He also has natural talents for leadership, strategy, politics, and manipulation.

Highly Influential Connections: Omega has access to a vast collection of magical artifacts, technological devices, and military hardware.

Indomitable Will: Omega possesses an extreme, almost god-like "Force of Will".

Martial Arts Master: He has been highly trained and has mastered the world's most lethal fighting styles, but his primary form of combat is an idiosyncratic mixture that takes various elements of various styles he has mastered and ceated a unique style that suits his strengths. His style places heavy emphasis on tae kwon do, judo, aikido, jeet kune do, karate, dragon-style kung fu, jujitsu, ninjitsu, and tai chi. He also has extensive knowledge of pressure points.

Master Telekinetic Combatant: As a telekinetic, he often uses his powers to augment his strength and speed, which makes his fighting skills so strong that he was able to match and even outmatch other superhumanly strong opponents.

Master Telepathic Combatant: As a telepath, Omega can take advantage of his powers in a fight by reading his opponents' movements seconds before they made them, giving him the opportunity to counter-attack faster.

Telepathic Resistance: Omega has trained himself extensively for fighting telepaths, and is resistant to telepathic attack. He also possesses titanic willpower, which aids him in resisting telepathic assaults.

Total Control: Omega has full physical and mental control over his powers, which is why they cannot be weakened or absorbed by siphoning mutants.

Strength level

Omega possesses the normal human strength of a man of his height and weight who engages in intense regular exercise.

Weaknesses

Physical Condition: Omega's ability to wield his superhuman powers effectively is dependent upon both the force of his will and the strength of his body. When severely injured, his body is unable to withstand the strain of performing large psychic feats, and he can actually kill himself from exhaustion if the strain becomes too great.

Equipment

Omega possesses a battlesuit of his own making, which is based on an advanced infantry armor system constructed from flame-resistant Nomex. The first layer of protection is a water-proof undersuit of vibranium nano-weave cloth that robs incoming objects of their momentum (bullets do not ricochet off but simply fall to the ground when they come in contact with the weave and stabbing weapons can only harm him if the attacker slashes along the grain, which are covered), with built-in temperature regulators designed to keep the wearer at a comfortable temperature in almost any condition. The outer layer of protection consists of multiple pieces of hardened heat-resistant Kevlar tri-weave micro-fiber plates on a crystallized liquid adamantium-dipped nano-fiber that can stop slashing weapons and deflect any small-caliber bullet impact short of a point-blank shot, with reinforced joints to allow for maximum flexibility and range of movement. The plates are further coated with a black latex material for camoflauge and also serve to dampen Omega's heat signature, making him difficult to detect with both night-vision, radar, and infared equipment. Omega also wears a pair of black adamantium vambraces which are mainly used to block against knives or other stabbing weapons, while the black rubber gloves of the suit contain microcircuits that can generate an electrical current on command for various purposes (including attack). The belt of the suit is bronze in color, while the cape of the suit is lined with a fire-proof adhesive and has the ability to fold into a backpack shape. His boots are made from hardened leather and lined with adamantium plates, while the soles are molded with vibranium and equipped with energy regulators that create varying fields, enabling Omega to survive a fall of several stories and land like a cat; given enough momentum, he can also scale walls or skim across water (the field can be also used offensively to shatter or weaken objects).

Transportation

Although Omega is capable of planetary and interstellar travel via his own power, he disdains the needless expenditure of power and so typically prefers to travel via luxury sports car, private jet or a number of exotic aerial vehicles of his own design, and even starships if the occasion calls for it.

Weapons

Omega relies primarily on his natural abilities, only using his powers as a last resort, however he has occasionally used devices he has invented as a means of attack.
