Here it is. Finally, the new trailer for Marvel Studios' next big hit and, in my opinion, the best 2013 comicbook movie to come: IRON MAN 3!

Marvel's Iron Man 3 Domestic Trailer 2 (OFFICIAL)

Marvel's Iron Man 3 Domestic Trailer 2 (OFFICIAL)

This is the English version of the trailer. As the American version hasn't been released on YouTube yet. But, enjoy it, as I guarantee you you'll end with a smile from side to side.

In this new trailer we can see a more political background of this movie, as we not only see the MCU version of the American President, but also how Mandarin's attack seem to be directed to the American government than Stark himself (although Tony himself states this isn't about politics but revenge).

New footage of Rhodey Rhodes as Iron Patriot, it seems he will be in the Middle East looking for the Mandarin, maybe under a direct order of the president? And something which seems to be a laboratory of mass production of Extremis soldiers, A.I.M. and the Mandarin working together?

Oh, and more of Mandarin's threatening speech, which is cool.

It also looks like since the Chitauri attack in New York, Tony has been more paranoid (well, this was already stated), as he built an underground Hall of Armors, where the Iron Legion is. In my opinion, Stark moved all the Iron Man armors to that underground location, and the suits left in the small Hall of Armor are for the same purpose Tony Stark has one in the Avengers Tower: to impress people.

This is the first look at the new armors in the movie, as concept art could be seen weeks ago, not to mention some of them appearing in posters. The Iron Legion is just awesome. We can see the Heartbreaker Armor, the Deep Space Armors, and other unnamed versions of Stark's suit.

Oh, and I forgot about certain armor: HULKBUSTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH... Ahem, I mean: Hulkbuster Eff yeah!.

So...

What do you think of this new trailer?

UPDATE: Some news about the film

Before the Super Bowl, some reporters were invited to a special screening of Iron Man 3. This is what Steve Wintraub from Collider said bout the first twenty minutes of the movie, but look out, there might be some spoilers:

The biggest takeaway from the awesome footage is that Iron Man 3 feels like the natural sequel to both Iron Man 2 and The Avengers. It also looks like they figured out a brilliant way to explain why Tony Stark would want to be left alone and not call his Avenger friends when he gets into trouble. Finally, with Iron Man 3 being the start of Marvel's Phase 2, I also think the studio has figured out a really smart way to introduce Iron Man pushing the boundaries of what is scientifically possible and fans are going to be very excited by what they see. I really think Iron Man 3 might be the best one yet in the series and I cannot wait for May 3rd.

3RD UPDATE

Director Shane Black tells us a little bit about the Extremis virus in this movie:

"In the Extremis comic book, there’s a type of thing that takes over and basically upgrades DNA. Sometimes you die. But if you live through the experience then you come out this changed thing. But the way they do it is the guy that does it is not some man chosen to be the super soldier -he’s just a militia guy. There’s an element of realism to it as well. So what we’ve tried to do is take this very science-fictiony concept of super people, and ground it in the type of people who volunteer for this being not necessarily super villains, but just people who upgrade. I love the idea of a super villain that doesn’t wear a cape, that doesn’t wear a super suit. That goes around dressed as you are right now. As for the science of it, once again we’ve gone back to the comic books, and I think pretty much lifted the Maya Hensen idea, that she met [Tony] long ago and had the germ of an idea, which now has come to fruition full circle, but she’s afraid because it’s gotten out there. And we go from there. I think you’ll be interested in the effect that we generate to demonstrate what Extremis does to a human being. It’s a pretty interesting special effect. But we’ve deliberately stayed away from defining, ‘Oh it’s nanites.’ What we do keep from the comic is the idea that there’s a slot in the brain that seems to have been dormant, but exists in human beings, almost as though it’s waiting for human beings to find a way to fill it.It’s been there forever."
