This is my very own interpretation of the Marvel Comics Universe, character-by-character.
Iceman (Bobby Drake)
Teenager Robert "Bobby" Drake was kicked out of his house when his parents discovered he had mutant powers to generate intense cold. Found by Scott Summers on a bus, he accepted an offer to join the Xavier School for the Gifted, a boarding school for children with mutant powers, where he became infamous for his practical jokes, such as booby-trapping the toilets so whoever sits down would get frozen stuck. He becomes close friends with Anna Marie "Rogue" Adler and John "Pyro" Allerdyce.
Longing to join the X-Men, Bobby auditioned for the team, only to be rejected do to his immaturity. However he disobeys direct orders and rescues the X-Men from a group of Sentinels of Safty with a giant ice wall, showcasing his omega-level powers. This finally leds him to join the team under his self-proclaimed codename Iceman.
Spider-Man (Peter Parker)
The son of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Richard and Mary Parker, Peter B. Parker is left with his Aunt May and Uncle Ben Parker while his parents went on a mission to investigate HYDRA terrorist Red Skull, only to be killed in action and framed as traitors of the United States. Peter is left in the care of his aunt and uncle as a result.
Years later, when he turned 15, Peter was bitten by a radioactive spider and gained spider-like abilities. Although he at first used his powers for fame, starring in an amateur-wrestling show under the stage name Spider-Man, after Ben is killed by the same burglar Peter let escape earlier that week, he vows to never just stand by again, becoming the superhero Spider-Man.
