I see that in Scott Summers (Earth-616), we have labeled the character as "Good" in alignment. But these days, is he really a good guy, or a neutral guy? I say he is neutral. So I have tried to change his alignment to "Neutral", but it gets changed all the time, often by the same people.
Let me go over why Cyclops is Neutral. Traditionally, Cyclops has fought for the right side of the law, and he is often described as being a true archetypal hero among a sea of arrogant antiheroes that came out of the Vietnam War (e.g., Wolverine). But in recent days, Cyclops has become overprotective, amoral, and mentally ambiguous, all because of Jean Grey's excessively prolonged apparent death. Nothing proves this more than the fact that he is the leader of the Extinction X-Men. We not only label that team and many of its members as Neutral. But just think about what the Extinction Team does 24/7. They KILL humans just because they have imprisoned mutants. K-I-L-L. KILL. And they feel happy for every act of murder they cause. Sure, the humans deserve it sometimes, but it is totally against any agenda that a true hero would do. Only real antiheroes would do something as morbid as that. I have plenty more arguments, but I will let you guys voice you own opinion before I speak up any more of mine.
