In partnership with the Marvel Wiki, we're running a tournament leading up to the release of the live-action Avengers film. We're pitting 100 members of the Marvel super-team against each other in the ultimate showdown. If Daredevil fought Rage, who would win? If the Winter Soldier were pitted against the USAgent, who would emerge victorious? You tell us!
Criteria for “The Avengers Battle Royale:”
- The character has to currently be alive in the Marvel Universe.
- Characters must either have honorary, reserve or active status on the team.
- We utilized Avengers #1 (1963) as our starting point. Members of the earlier 1950s team were not incorporated.
- Villains were not included in the tournament (i.e. Norman Osborn’s Dark Avengers were not eligible).
