Another issue of Uncanny X-Force that could not dissapoint even if it tried.
Archangel just slept with Pestilence. Ga-wha..? What was the point of this, exactly? Hm. At least we see that the dark side of him is still in store even when he his human..that is interesting.
Famine's effects work on EVA, but not Deathlok? Wait..am I thinking of Death's powers? Crap. Anyways, Famine spits on Wolverine as he leaves. Big mistake. Spoiler alert: he gets his hands cut off later because of it. Awesome too. But at least before he went, we got to see his powers work on Blob. Because who didn't want that to happen? Seriously, who..?
So yeah, Blob came back. And he definitely sat on Fantomex. Ouch. Deadpool made some nice jokes about Blob in general being fat, but later Deadpool was no match for Iceman. Which reminds me, Iceman is not only here now, but apparently bad. And not just bad, but a total bad-ass. If you've read the issue, you know what I mean. Why can't 616 Iceman be that awesome? Not a villain, just have his powers to that extent. The last and only time I can think of Iceman being pretty cool with his powers was when he fought the Collective Man back in X-Men Vol 2 #160(ish). That was pretty cool, but the 295's power use in this issue doubles that.
The one thing I didn't like that much is how dumb Psylocke seems. How completely blind she is.. She sees her 'lover' kill Autumn Rolfson, and she totally take forever to try and attack him. Lamee. And as if the odds against X-Force weren't hard enough, Deathlok is added to the bad side by being controlled by War, and Psylocke is (going to be) added to the bad side with the seed thing. And Deadpool is dead? lol, yeah right.
That was just a minor thing though. I am still giving this book a 5 out of 5 stars. I just..have to. I loved ths story, the fighting scenes, and of course the artwork. As always, I can't wait for the next issue.
