History

Val-Lorr was a captain in the Imperial Kree Army, which served the Kree Imperium, a faction and opposite of the Utopian Kree. Following the union of the Imperium with the Skrull Empire to form the Kree/Skrull Alliance, Val-Lorr reluctantly followed Emperor Hulkling's efforts to keep peace between the breakaway Kree factions despite his belief that the separatist factions had to be assimilated back into the Imperium or destroyed.

When the Galactic Council called a meeting at Proscenium to review galactic treaties following the creation of the Alliance, Val-Lorr attended alongside Super-Skrull as second diplomat, and acted hostile towards Marvel Boy, the Utopian Kree ambassador.[1] During the assembly, Zn'rx representative and emperor Stote was murdered by the Profiteer, who had infilitrated the meeting posing as Sisterhood of Badoon representative Lani Ko Ako, to spark a war of succession.[2] Marvel Boy found his body in the washroom, but was immediately found by Val-Lorr, who assumed Marvel Boy was the killer. Val-Lorr drew his weapon to kill Marvel Boy, but a secret failsafe programmed by the Profiteer, who had been the supplier of the weapons, caused its barrel to turn around and kill Val-Lorr instead since he has pointing it at a fellow Kree.[1] The two murders were subsequently investigated and solved by Rocket Raccoon.[2]

Personality

Val-Lorr was extremely hateful of the Utopian Kree and those who are a part of the faction, thinking they are treacherous.[1]
