Synopsis for "The Sacred and the Profane: Part II"
Atop a skyscraper in New York, Jane/Valkyrie takes on a leering Bullseye, who has just run through Heimdall with Brunnhilde's sword Dragonfang. Bullseye feints and Jane is kicked hard from behind by Bullseye's winged steed, under his control. As he is about to kill Jane, a not-dead-yet Heimdall raises up and smashes Bullseye, but apparently the powers of the sword protect him from the worst of it. As Jane clears her head, Bullseye stabs Heimdall yet again, further enraging Jane, who attacks anew. In order to stave off Jane's attack with the ever-shifting all weapon Undrjarn, Bullseye pushes Heimdall off the edge of the building and Jane has to go after him instead of capturing Bullseye and the sword. She zooms down the side of the building, using Undrjarn as wings, and just manages to catch Heimdall before he smashes into the ground.
As she looks at a begging veteran she sees a giant death's head overhead and pulls him out of the way of a lethal sword throw by Bullseye. As she reaches for Dragonfang she hesitates... and it flies back to Bullseye's hand. Obviously deranged he tells her he's going to kill her then kill all the onlookers, and with their body parts make a sign saying "Bullseye was here". She watches as Bullseye, atop his steed, and about to swing Dragonfang, rides down upon her. She's been thinking that safeguarding Dragonfang is like keeping the last bit of Brunnhilde alive, but then realizes it's not metal and swords, but people who are important, and with that shatters Dragonfang with Undrjarn.
Astonished that his magic sword is broken, Bullseye barely sees the mighty blow from Jane, and falls unconscious to the ground, to be picked up by waiting police. Jane bends to the dying Heimdall, who asks a boon of her - not to be ferried to Valhalla, but to be allowed to see what else is out there. As Heimdall's body expires, his spirit form arises and the two mount the winged steed and take off for, in Jane's words, a "journey into mystery".
