The Vapors of Valtorr was a spell that called upon the powers of Valtorr to conjure a deep dark mist capable of blotting out light, concealing all things, and attacking people.[4]
History
Baron Mordo used the Vapors of Valtorr to attack the Ancient One in Kamar-Taj. Luckily, Doctor Strange was able to save him.[5]
During a magical duel between Baron Mordo and Doctor Strange, Mordo cast the Dark Vapors of Valtorr to blind Strange. However, Doctor Strange was able to quickly dispell the vapors by calling upon the power of the Vishanti.[2]
Doctor Strange has commonly used a combination of Vapors of Valtorr and Mists of Morpheus to cause sleep in others.[6][7]

During a lesson, Clea was casting the Rings of Raggadorr when Doctor Strange chose to test her concentration by sending the Vapors of Valtorr, the Winds of Watoomb, and the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak to assault her.[8]
While escaping from Doctor Doom, Doctor Strange cast the Obscuring Mists of Valtorr to mystically hide from both magic and technology.[3]See Also
