History

Varney was a vampire active in England up until at least the mid-nineteenth century. He was arrogant enough to name himself after the legendary first vampire, Varnae. His various exploits were reported upon in contemporary London publications.

While researching the history of vampires, Doctor Strange found references to Varney.
