History
The history of the Venom symbiote mirrors that of its Earth-616 counterpart, having bonded to the Kree soldier Tel-Kar, been brought to Earth by Peter Parker, and bonded to multiple other hosts -- including many that its Earth-616 counterpart had not. Forming a particularly strong attachment to Eddie Brock, the Venom symbiote kept him alive for five-hundred years; replacing his failing organs with simulacrums manifested from its living abyss. With warring Artificial Superintelligences having brought an end to the Golden Age of Human(oid) Super-Heroism and exterminated most organic life, the Venom symbiote was left without a means of keeping Eddie alive indefinitely and was forced to let its beloved host perish.
The Venom symbiote retreated into deep space along with other members of its kind, and concocted a plan to save organic life. Its attempt to enlist the other symbiotes, however, backfired and resulted in the Symbiote War of (Failed) Unification. Carrying out a genocide on its own kind, the Venom symbiote drew upon the codices encoded within itself to harness the self-replication powers of James Madrox. Creating countless copies of itself, the Venom symbiote used them to create thousands of living planets called "Meatgarden Edens" that it terraformed using Storm's weather manipulation powers. Bioengineering humanoid species by splicing together the genes of the hardiest species it had encountered and bonding copies of itself to each of them, the Venom symbiote watched as the A.S.I.s united into a coalition called the Godminds and set out to conquer and assimilate the universe.
Approached by the A.S.I. patterned after Tony Stark, the Venom symbiote brusquely rejected his assertion that his own cybernetic database was superior to the symbiote's. This breakdown in talks sparked Venom's Endless War with the Machines, a conflict that lasted trillions of years. As the A.S.I. armada improved at an exponential rate, the Venom symbiote discovered how to transform its claws into planet-shredding antimatter weapons and attempted to use countless permutations of its hosts' powers to gain the upper hand. Fighting a losing battle as every victory came at the cost of countless hosts, the Venom symbiote sent copies of itself back in time in multiple attempts to prevent the A.S.I.s from coming into existence; bonding to every living thing that had ever existed in order to obtain a complete codex catalogue of all life in the universe.
Unable to stop the rise of the A.S.I.s, the Venom symbiote was forced to relinquish its dying last host. In a final act of defiance, it tore its extradimensional lattice apart to create a new universe where biological life could flourish without threat from the A.S.I.s, which were so impressed by this act of self-sacrifice that they sought to emulate it and swore to leave the "Venomverse" alone.[1]Personality

Symbiote Biology: The Venom symbiote's body is an extradimensional tesseract comprised of living abyss and needs a host to anchor it in space-time. It is capable of storing an infinite amount of information inside itself, using this to create a codex database of its former hosts.[1]

Trivia
- He apparently obtained his powers through a paradox as his "future" self used Quicksilver's amplified abilities to obtain more hosts from the past so that his "past" self with the hive mind could turn back time in his universe in the future.
