History
After years mutating in the sewers of Nueva York, the Venom symbiote found a new host in Kron Stone,[1] who had been fatally wounded by Jake Gallows and dumped into the sewer.[2] Becoming the Venom of 2099 A.D., Kron tried to kill his own father, Tyler Stone, before turning his attention to Miguel O'Hara, who he did not know was his paternal half-brother. After being defeated by Spider-Man, Venom was separated from Kron and kept isolated in one of the laboratories of Alchemax,[3] where it spawned a new symbiote.[4]
The Venom symbiote was later freed from captivity by Roman the Sub-Mariner, who had also been captured by Alchemax.[5] After successfully escaping from their captors, Roman expelled Venom from his body and the symbiote returned to Kron Stone, just in time to save his life from Jake Gallows.[4]Attributes
Powers
In addition to those of the Venom symbiote of Earth-616, this Venom symbiote was shown to have the following powers:
- Acidic blood and saliva[6]
- Shapeshifting: After years mutating in the sewers of Nueva York,[1] Venom gained the ability to give its host an amorphous physiology similar to its own, allowing them to shapeshift their entire body or parts of it, as shown with Kron Stone being able to turn into a watery substance and turning his hands into maces.[6]
