History
Ventolin Xtal was the queen of the planet known as Mer-Z-Bow and led the race known as the Pao'Ree. She had ruled the world for a long period of time and her subjects were very loyal to her.
Bucky and Daisy Johnson landed on the planet Mer-Z-Bow with the intention of killing Ventolin because of a vision that seemed to predict that if Ventolin remained alive, it would lead to a intergalactic war. When Bucky tried to infiltrate the queen's lair, the two met and almost instantly fell in love with each other. Forsaking his mission to kill her and instead try to find another way to stop the future events, Bucky worked together with Ventolin. Crossbones set his target on both Ventolin and Bucky.[1]Trivia
"Ventolin" and "Xtal" are both titles of songs composed by the electronic musician Aphex Twin and are likely a direct reference.
