Synopsis for "Tidal Wave of Terror"

Following a massive tidal wave on along the Atlantic coast, Venus is the sole survivor, but she is content that there will be no more disasters. She is found by the military authorities and Whitney Hammond who have come searching for her, and she tells them her tale from the very beginning....

She asks them to recall how a year ago there were homes that were built on the eastern shore that were bought up quickly due to their reasonable prices, and that shortly after they were bought up the entire area was destroyed by a massive tidal wave that killed all the homeowners. When the housing commission investigated the disaster they found nothing wrong but still called in the owner of the company, Miss Diana Seacrest to Washington D.C. to discuss the situation with the government. A government official with the FHA then told Seacrest that for the sake of public safety that she is not to build any sea-side homes. Furious, Seacrest refuses to comply, telling the FHA man that she will continue to build the homes even without grants from the government.

The story made the newspapers, getting the attention of Whitney Hammond and Venus. Hammond sends Venus to investigate the strange happening. To this end, Venus poses as a home buyer and buys a house on one of Seacrest's new developments. That night there is a powerful storm and Venus sees what appears to be a drowning woman out in the waves. Changing into a swimsuit she swims out to rescue the woman. Just then a massive tidal wave hits destroying all the houses. Venus survives the deluge and notices that the woman she saw earlier appears to be Diana Seacrest, who is laughing madly at all the destruction. Venus tries to go after her, but Diana dives under the waves and seemingly disappears.

The next morning, Venus goes to the offices of Seacrest industries to tell them that she was the last one to see their owner alive and is shocked to see Diana Seacrest alive and well. Seacrest denies being in the area that night and throws Venus out when she continues to pressure her for questions. Venus agrees to leave, vowing to get to the bottom of it, and Seacrest herself is intent on eliminating the snoop before he plans can be exposed. Venus gets to work quickly, taking her suspicions to the insurance company that provides service to Seacrest Realty. When Diana goes to them to claim her insurance, she is denied and storms out in a fury. Venus also gets the military to evacuate the last Seacrest development to avoid any potential casualties.

Diana appears in the waters and calls upon the waves to destroy the development. When she summons tidal waves she is then attacked by Venus who reveals that she is a goddess and has detected that Seacrest is also a god. Seacrest admits that she is really Neptunia, daughter of Neptune and that she has caused all this death and destruction because her father was apparently killed in nuclear bomb testing. However, the tidal wave suddenly swallows up Neptunia in the ensuing destruction.

... Venus finishes her tale telling them that Diana Seacrest will threaten the shores no longer.
