Synopsis for "The Handsomest Man in the World!"
As Venus is sunbathing on the roof of the Beauty Magazine office, in the office below Whitney Hammond informs his secretary Della Mason that the movie star Rodney Radiant is in town and that he wishes to get an interview with him. When Della offers to do it, he declines telling her that he intends for Venus to get the exclusive for him instead, much to Della's ire. When Venus returns to the office Rodney tells Venus of her next assignment. Seeing a photo of Rodney Radiant, Venus cannot help but notice that Rodney bears a striking resemblance to Narcissus. She recalls how Narcissus rejected her love for the love of himself and Venus cursed him to live as the flower that was later named after him. Venus takes the assignment but before she leaves Della challenges her to try to get the interview wearing plain clothing. Venus takes up the offer, and Della is convinced that Venus will fail at her task and get fired from her job.
Meanwhile, at Rodney Radiant's hotel room Rodney calls the from office, telling them that he will take no interviews that day, having grown tired of their constant pestering. When Venus arrives at the lobby of the hotel, she spots a woman crying and questions her. She learns that the girl is Connie Lane, Rodney's high school sweetheart. She explains that prior to becoming famous, she and Rodney were to get married. However, fame had gone to his head and he called it off and she has been trying to see him since to talk him back into it. Venus offers her assistance in helping Connie win back Rodney's heart.
Venus then goes up to Rodney's room and confronts him. When he tries to throw her out, Venus doffs her disguise and unleashes her full beauty on him. Rodney is instantly in love and easily falls under her hypnotic spell. Venus then rejects Rodney's love, telling him that when she leaves he will forget all about her and that he will always know the feeling of rejection and that he should cherish the love he already has. When Venus disappears, Rodney snaps out of his trance and calls Connie up to his room to reconcile.
When Venus returns to the office, Della expects a disaster but is mortified to learn that not only did Venus get an exclusive interview with Rodney for Beauty Magazine, but got the scoop on Rodney's announcement that he intends to marry Connie.

Synopsis for "The Day the Sun Stood Still!"
At the office of Beauty Magazine, Venus is in a meeting with Whitney Hammond who tells her that they have much to do. Wondering what is happening on planet Venus, Venus quickly teleports there. As she is in transport, Apollo wonders where his mistress goes when she leaves planet Venus. When he learns that she has returned he goes to her and Venus tells Apollo that she is due back on Earth and leaves him in charge. She then returns to Earth unaware that Apollo intends to follow her there. As Venus returns to the exact moment she left she has a feeling that somebody has followed her back, but dismisses it to learn about the busy publishing schedule ahead.
Apollo arrives on Earth and assumes the mortal guise of Paul Belvedere and arrives at the offices of Beauty Magazine. There he petitions Whitney Hammond for a job and convinces Hammond to hire him on as assistant editor for the magazine. Venus notices a striking resemblance to Paul Belvedere and Apollo but cannot believe that he would disobey her orders and come to Earth. Listening to Venus gush about Whitney Hammond meets the disapproval of Apollo who does not believe their queen should love a mortal and puts plans into motion to stop things.
Soon the workers at Beauty Magazine realize that the sun is still up, even though they have been working past midnight. Everyone finds this fantastic, and Venus begins to suspect that Paul is really Apollo. Paul then invites Venus out for dinner, spurring jealousy in Whitney's mind. At dinner, Apollo explains his cover and tries to force Venus to dance with him. Whitney, having followed them steps in and tells "Paul" to get his hands off her. Apollo knocks Whitney out with a blast of light from his eyes, and he tells Venus that the sun will never set unless she returns to Venus. Paul then leaves giving her time to come to her senses. Venus checks on Whitney and finds that he forgot the whole incident. Back at the office, the sun continues to beat down and Whitney rushes off to the presses after getting a call to learn that they have burned out.
Venus tries to convince Apollo to stop, but he refuses to do anything unless she returns home. Venus decides to do so and teleports back to planet Venus. There she commands Apollo to return and he teleports back to Venus as well. There she punishes him and orders him never to leave the kingdom again. With Venus at her full power, Apollo has no choice but to obey. Venus returns to Earth to find the sun has set and it is blessedly night time again. She patches things up with Whitney and they go walking among the stars.
