History

Contessa Vera Vidal was a member of the Confederates of the Curious, and with them faced many adventures and mysteries. Among these adventures, the Contessa and the Confederates proved that the Great Breaker of Souls was real and was a dragon, discovered a city of bones beneath London, escaped the War of the Air in Manhattan, danced the dance of death in Paris with Monsieur Aucun, found themselves drinking in a bar in Istanbul, and opposed Captain Nemo and his group on the Nautilus when the Confederates attempted to destroy the Concordance Engine.
