Meeting Logan[]

Nothing is known about how old Creed was or where he was born but sometime around 1860 Creed tracked down Logan in Japan where he was living as a monk in Kanagawa. Creed was interested in him after having heard of him in Canada and become aware that he shared Creed's healing abilities and enhanced lifespan. Creed believed that he and Logan were soulmates because of their shared powers and that Logan must enjoy killing as much as Creed did. Creed recruited Logan to work with him as a samurai.[1] Logan abandoned Creed when he learned that the family of his love, Mariko, were involved and just how much Creed loved violence and killing. Logan would then return to fight Creed to retrieve a sword stolen from Mariko's father.[2]

Permanent Rage[]

Creed continued working for the Shogunate and then the Yakuza, rising to number two in the organisation. When Logan resurfaced after a hundred and fifty years Creed approached him and learned that Logan had again lost his memory. Creed tried to convince Logan that he was responsible for a terrorist attack that Creed had actually had a hand in and followed Logan as he hunted down the Yashida family sword. After retrieving the sword the two fought and Logan left Creed for the Japanese police to find, at which point Creed was arrested and locked up in a secure and secret maximum security facility.[3]
