History
The Sabretooth from Earth-203 was a patriotic super hero working for the state. After dealing with the Summers extremists, he was kidnapped by Graydon Creed and transported to Earth-616. Graydon was on a mission to kill all Sabretooths across the Multiverse and tossed the prisoner into a holding pen with a few others. Implanted with Barrington Coils that weakened them and negated their healing, Sabretooths from Earth-12, Earth-203, and Earth-1912 worked together to rip them from each other's bodies. They teamed up to attack Graydon, who was in the process of torturing his father, the Sabretooth of Earth-616. Graydon escaped amidst the chaos and, after ripping the Barrington Coil from Sabretooth-616, the others ran across Station Five until they found the interdimensional device that got them there.
They were about to return home when Graydon attacked them with remote-controlled corpses of headless Sabretooths he had already killed. Sabretooth-616 recovered and joined the fight, which ended by pushing Graydon through a portal into another universe. The Sabretooth corpses shut down without the signal from his device and Sabretooth-616 made the survivors an offer, which they accepted: Instead of returning to their homes, they stayed with him on Earth-616, commandeering a spaceship and going on an adventure of their own.[1]
Cap Sabretooth and the other Sabretooths were led by Sabretooth-616 throughout the Multiverse to kill multiversal variants of his enemies and recruit other Sabretooths. In hopes of continuing his long standing tradition of hurting his Universe's Wolverine on his birthday, Sabretooth-616 and his army planned to mount an attack on Krakoa to enact his revenge on the Quiet Council, only to find it deserted and under siege by Orchis due to the events of the third Hellfire Gala. Sabretooth-616's attention would thus switch to Wolverine's new X-Force team, with Wolverine's protégé Kid Omega being ambushed and having his body be cannibalized by the other Sabretooths after he investigated the presence of new mutants on Krakoa. The Sabretooth Army used the telepathic energy from Kid Omega's still alive head to track down X-Force's new arctic base and incapacitated X-Force members Sage and Black Tom Cassidy with it.. Sabretooth-616 then encountered Wolverine's son Fang and slaughtered and dismembered him, using his remains to spell out "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" for Wolverine.[2] Wolverine attacked Sabretooth-616 in a berserk rage, but the cyborgs beat him down as Sabretooth-616 taunted him. Sabretooth-616 restrained Wolverine with adamantium tentacles and decided to torment him further by murdering the inhabitants inside the Greenhouse. Cap and some Sabretooth cyborgs ambushed Colossus in his bedchamber and fought against him. Sage and Black Tom recovered and activated the Greenhouse's defense mechanisms, which were powerful vines that Black Tom used to kill Cap and the cyborgs that accompanied him.[3] Cap was revealed to have survived the battle and was infuriated with the Sabretooth Army for abandoning him. Cap fled the Arctic base on foot while members of X-Force hunted after him. He managed to get a drop in on Domino but was attacked and nearly killed by Wolverine, who had to be restrained by Colossus. Back at the base, X-Force was unsuccessful in interrogating Cap until Phoebe Cuckoo used her telepathy to uncover the history and goals of the Sabretooth Army. A psionic image of Sabretooth that had been created as a "failsafe" in Cap's mind nearly killed Phoebe until Domino shot Cap in the head, killing him and ending the interrogation.[4]Attributes
