History
Sabretooth from Earth-33441 is a killer made even more deadly by his camouflage powers. He was recruited into the Sabretooth Army led by the Sabretooth of Earth-616, which also included Sabretooths from Earth-12 ("Pretty Boy"), Earth-203 ("Cap"), Earth-1912 ("Savage"), and headless cyborg versions of Sabretooth. In hopes of continuing his long standing tradition of hurting his Universe's Wolverine on his birthday, Sabretooth-616 and his army planned to mount an attack on Krakoa to enact his revenge on the Quiet Council, only to find it deserted and under siege by Orchis due to the events of the third Hellfire Gala.
Sabretooth-616's attention would thus switch to Wolverine's new X-Force team, with Sabretooth-33441, now calling himself Camo, using his shape-shifting abilities to ambush Wolverine's protégé Kid Omega and have his body be cannibalized by the other Sabretooths after he investigated the presence of new mutants on Krakoa. The Sabretooth Army used the telepathic energy from Kid Omega's still alive head to track down X-Force's new arctic base and incapacitated X-Force members Sage and Black Tom Cassidy with it. Sabretooth-616 then encountered Wolverine's son Fang and slaughtered and dismembered him, using his remains to spell out "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" for Wolverine.[1]
Wolverine attacked Sabretooth-616 in a berserk rage, but the cyborgs beat him down as Sabretooth-616 taunted him. Sabretooth-616 restrained Wolverine with adamantium tentacles and decided to torment him further by murdering the inhabitants inside the Greenhouse. Camo used his abilities to shape-shift into Wolverine to infiltrate the Greenhouse, but blew his cover to knock out Domino and fought Wolverine's daughter Laura along with Savage and Pretty Boy. Sage and Black Tom recovered and activated the Greenhouse's defense mechanisms, which forced the remnants of the Sabretooth Army to retreat.[2] Although he and Savage managed to capture Laura, Camo and Savage blamed Sabretooth for the deaths of Pretty Boy and Cap. Camo attempted to usurp him back at Station Five, but Savage restrained him as they were currently no match for Sabretooth's adamantium skeleton, which they previously helped him recover from another universe.
While the two reluctantly agreed to follow Sabretooth's leadership again, Camo and Savage secretly planned to usurp him and planned to recover the 616 variant of his son from the dimension the other Sabretooths had previously trapped him in.[3] While Sabretooth was preoccupied on Krakoa, Camo and Savage used the opportunity to recruit Graydon with Camo entering the dimension himself to extract him.[4] Graydon agreed to help them due to their mutual hatred of Sabretooth. After Laura escaped her prison, killed Savage and several other cyborgs and contacted X-Force, Camo, Graydon and the remaining army confronted her.[5] Laura disabled Station Five's cloaking mechanism before jumping out, causing the Stark Sentinels patrolling Krakoa to detect and attack Camo and the Army. During the aerial assault Camo took control of the ship while Graydon used his cybernetic implants to reprogram one of the Sentinels and piloted it to destroy the other Sentinels attacking Station Five.[6] When Graydon still expressed his desire to kill Sabretooth, Camo argued that his obsession with his father was no different that Sabretooth's own obsession with Wolverine, which infuriated Graydon who then used his Sentinel to destroy Station Five, killing Camo and the rest of the Sabretooth Army.[7]Attributes
Powers
- Superhuman Strength
- Shapeshifting: Sabretooth is able to imitate the shape of others down to the scent. It is suggested that Sabretooth can even imitate the thoughts of others as well and that his shape-shifting is psionic in nature.[1]
