History
In an alternate storyline, Victor becomes the super-villain and destroys the Avengers. Victorious mortally wounds the alternate timeline Avengers' leader Gertrude Yorkes (known in that timeline as Heroine) before she travels back in time to warn the Runaways about him.
Discovering Victorious traumatized Earth-616's Victor for the rest of his life. And when Virginia ripped out Victor's heart in the prison he was sent to for accidentally killing her son Vin, in his dying moments, Victor was relieved that he would never become like Victorious.
After Chase Stein was able to restore Victor to life from his disembodied head, Victor's fear of becoming Victorious returned, though he was ultimately consoled by the recently-revived Gertrude Yorkes.See Also
