History
Victor Vandoom was the great-grandson of Ludwig Vandoom, the creator of a giant wax monster. He set out to create his own monstrous creatures for his own personal gain, working from the abandoned Castle Kruger in Lichtenbad. He perfected his monster serum using the lingering traces of the formula used on Todd Ziller, the depowered American Kaiju.
When Deadpool infiltrated Castle Kruger, Vandoom injected him with his new serum to test it, and let him go. On the outskirts of the castle, the monstrous Deadpool stumbled upon Red Hulk, who had been sent to Lichtenbad to retrieve Ziller, and a battle broke out due to Deadpool's inability to properly communicate. Vandoom filmed the fight with hidden cameras to use the footage to promote his creation. Shortly before Deadpool's healing factor cured him of the serum's mutation and he stopped Red Hulk from fighting, Vandoom injected Ziller with his serum in repayment for his help, turning him back into the American Kaiju.
Vandoom continued observing as the American Kaiju targeted Red Hulk and Deadpool. However, his gloating over the Kaiju's prowess was cut short when Red Hulk grabbed the monster by the tail and flung him against Castle Kruger, collapsing the building and seemingly killing Vandoom in the process.[1]Notes
- When Deadpool commented on the similarity between Vandoom's name and that of Victor von Doom, aka Doctor Doom, Vandoom defended himself claiming to be ten years older than Doom.[1]
