History

Doctor Doom was the dictator of Latveria. To steal a Latverian painting from the Guggenheim Museum, he overtook the Con Edison Plant and used the power it generated to power his Doombots. He sent an army of bots to attack New York City while one bot stole the painting. While Spider-Man was able to figure out his intentions; destroy the art thief; and depower the bots, Doom was still able to steal the painting.
