History

The android hero Vision evolved into Mainframe; the chief operating system of an entire planet who controlled everything from climate to planetary stability. Mainframe was the guardian of the shield of Captain America. He also kept a version of his original body on the planet Neptune.

He was responsible for the Simon Williams of Earth-691 being transported away during the final assault on the Martian invaders, a battle that saw the majority of the rest of Earth's heroes die.
