History
The Vision's history on Earth-90110 mirrored that of his Earth-616 counterpart up until the point where he attempted to seize control of the world's computer networks by uploading himself into them. In this reality, the Avengers were unsuccessful in convincing him to end his plan, and he remained in control of Earth's computer infrastructure.
Having achieved the first step in his plan, the Vision addressed the United Nations, asking for humanity to work with him in creating a more peaceful world. Although sceptical, the general assembly and the world's heroes eventually agreed to accept his leadership in guiding the world to a better future.
Over the next few years, the Vision would oversee and coordinate radical changes to Earth's economy and social structures, with nuclear weapons being dismantled, financial resources redirected to feed the poor and hungry, and efforts made to undo ecological damage around the world. Under Vision's leadership, Earth would be peacefully united, and interplanetary exploration and colonization would begin.
By the twenty-second century, Vision was still the guide behind humanity's golden age, masterminding the Cosmic Avengers' victory over a combined Kree-Skrull plot to destroy Earth.[1]
Vision's leadership of humanity, however, would come to an end soon after. As the Nexus being of Earth-90110, Vision was targeted for erasure by the Time-Twisters, as part of their plan to ensure their timeline would dominate at the end of time. They manipulated the timestream to place Michael Korvac in Vision's universe, where he in turn mentally enslaved the Cosmic Avengers. With their assistance, Korvak was able to penetrate Vision's defences and infiltrate his headquarters on the Martian moon of Deimos, confronting him in cyberspace. With his superior technology, Korvac was eventually able to overwhelm Vision, destroying the centuries old synthetic mind and leaving humanity leaderless.[2]
