History
On his way to kill Quincy Harker in London, Dracula got distracted by a female human victim. She was saved by Dr. Deacon Frost who attacked Dracula and got feasted on instead. Turned into a vampire, Frost soon feasted on Vanessa Brooks while she was giving birth, turning her newborn son Eric into a dhampir who would one day be known as "Blade".
In his Castle in Transylvania, Dracula heard about the dhampir who one day could have the power to slay all undead. Dracula went back to London to deal with him, but was repelled by Blade and his allies Harker, Rachel van Helsing, and Frank Drake. Forced to flee, Dracula turned to more subtle methods. He unleashed his children upon a Christmas market, knowing that this would attract Blade into the trap. As Blade slaughtered his way through the lesser vampires, Dracula surprised him and bit him on the neck, turning Blade into a full vampire. However, Blade's unique physiology still made him resistant to Dracula's mind control and with his new vampiric powers Blade now posed even greater threat to Dracula who fled back to Castle Dracula in Transylvania. Dracula prepared to unleash his children upon the world, only to find that Blade was already at his residence and had slain many of the vampires there. The two fought and Blade put a stake through Dracula's heart, killing him.[1]See Also
