History
Born in Poland, Korda was a Hydra agent for five years, then a mercenary in Africa for three years before enlisting with the terrorist organization U.L.T.I.M.A.T.U.M..[1]
Korda was assigned to guard the 110 American hostages hijacked by U.L.T.I.M.A.T.U.M. with orders to kill them if someone interfered in the group's plan. Thus, when Captain America appeared, Korda began to open fire on hostages, forcing Captain America to kill him before he could complete his massacre.[2]
Later, Captain America would seemingly be confronted with Korda's ghost, alongside those of M.O.D.O.K., Porcupine, and the Scourge of the Underworld, but in fact they were holograms created by Doctor Faustus as part of a revenge plot against Captain America.[1]See Also
