History
In the depths of the forbidding woods near Lake Baikal, where shadows whisper secrets and ancient echoes linger, Vladimir Rasputin, a descendant of the infamous Rasputin, carved out a macabre existence as a crazed hermit. He inherited the dark powers of his notorious forebear, embracing a life of solitude and madness that led him down a path of malevolence.[1]
Vladimir's descent into darkness took a sinister turn when he attempted to snuff out the lives of his own flesh and blood – his three unsuspecting children Klara Rasputina, Konstantin Rasputin and Dimitriy Rasputin. Miraculously, against all odds, they survived the twisted ordeal, setting the stage for a chilling tale of family, power, and resurrection. The ominous quest for Rasputin's return unfolded with the clandestine machinations of Mister Sinister, a malevolent mastermind patiently plotting for decades. Systematically eliminating Rasputin's descendants, Sinister sought to diminish the bloodline, hastening the resurrection of the dark sorcerer. Only the most potent were spared, destined to serve as vessels for Rasputin's rebirth.[2]
Mikhail Rasputin, driven by a covetous desire to claim this twisted destiny for himself, emerged as a formidable contender. The murders of Klara, Konstantin, and Dimitriy Rasputin drew the attention of their cousin, the mighty Colossus. Investigating the macabre events, Colossus became entangled in a web of familial horror and cosmic significance. As the last vestiges of the Rasputin lineage dwindled, Vladimir Rasputin, known as Uncle Vlad, found himself succumbing to the depths of madness. In a final act of eerie theatricality, he chose to immolate himself, confessing a bizarre disdain for Boney M, Rasputin's favorite song. The eerie flames danced as the secrets of the past were consumed.[3]
The tragic demise of Larisa Mishchenko at the hands of Sinister left only Colossus and Mikhail to confront the impending doom. In a climactic clash orchestrated by Sinister, the two brothers faced each other in a macabre dance of fate. However, in an unexpected twist, Colossus, at the eleventh hour, appealed to Mikhail's lingering humanity.Betraying Sinister, Mikhail joined forces with Colossus, defying the malevolent plans set in motion. The brothers, survivors of a cursed lineage, faced the trauma of their past and the impending darkness. As they returned home, shaken by the events that unfolded, the echoes of Rasputin's legacy lingered, reminding them that some shadows are not easily dispelled.[4]See Also
