History
Developed by Tony Stark for SHIELD.[1] A vortex beam was used by Yuri Brevlov to capture the Hulk and the Missing Link, drawing them to his helicarrier.[2]
Colonel Fury also employed a vortex beam on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier to set Brevlov's ship down on the ground, without harming its crew, and then take him as a prisoner.[3]
