History
Wade Jermyn was an aristocrat and also a famous English explorer and ethnologist. During one of his trips to Africa he discovered in the unexplored jungle of the Congo a city inhabited by a hybrid race of monkey men. There he joined that tribe and married one of their women who was also considered their goddess. He returned to England with his wife, trying not to let anyone see her, but then returned to Africa and their only son Philip was born from their union, after which the woman died and he made her mummify and the tribe of monkey men have since adored the mummy like a goddess. Wade and Philip returned to England, but Wade was locked up in a psychiatric institution because of the stories of that tribe that made him take himself for a fool and he died there.[1]
