History

The history of this Deadpool starts when he ambushed and killed Sun Tzu Wu. He notices the scrolls for the Art of War and decides he can make a fortune by applying the ideas to business and publishing a book. The meeting with the publisher goes poorly as the Art of War has already been applied to businesses, but it could be relevant as a survival manual if the world were at war. Deadpool now decides to trick Loki into a fight with Thor, which will spill over onto Earth. He then goes to warn Thor of Loki and his army. Thor leads his troops out to defend the city, but run into an ambush and are defeated. [1]

As Loki and his army celebrate their victory, Deadpool continues drafting his version of the Art of War. When they clamor to loot and pillage, Deadpool tries to discourage them, but he is soon impaled by a looter. Returning to Loki's castle, Deadpool now encourages them to invade the Earth. But when Loki questions why Deadpool would want his home world invaded, he admitted it was simply for a book deal. Loki then imprisons him. As cellmates with Thor, Deadpool picks his locks then frees Thor. [2]

Now freed, Thor joins with Odin and they go into Asgard to re-take the city from Hela, who Loki placed in charge while he went away to invade Earth. Debating their next move, Thor questions Loki's whereabouts, to which Deadpool admits he sent Loki to Earth. After crossing the Rainbow Bridge to Earth, Thor, Odin, and their troops leave Deadpool while they go to look for Loki and his army. Deadpool returns to his laptop to continue drafting his book, but it gets knocked over and broken by Loki's rioting minions. This sends him into a rage and he begins slaughtering all the nearby bad guys. Once he runs out, he and the Avengers look around and figure there'll be more enemies soon. [3]

Unable to stop himself from rampaging, Deadpool gets knocked out by Spider-Man. Later, Scourge comes across the still-unconscious Deadpool and attacks him. Thor interrupts before Deadpool can get decapitated. Back together with the Avengers, they all decide they need to stop Loki for good and head to his rallying point in Central Park. Thor finds and engages Loki, but Loki gains the upper hand. Deadpool intervenes to save Thor, who calls his lightning which puts an end to the battle. Returning to the publishers office, Deadpool is given a list of expenses instead of a check. He goes to another meeting with a publisher at the Sanctum Sanctorum, where he's told Marvel would love to pay him for his book treatment. [4]
