Deadpool was the announcer of of Maestro's gladiatorial games held in the Crown City of Sakaar region of Primary Earth. He witnessed the rise of a new Champion who would eventually help dethrone Maestro, ending his tyranny. Almost as soon as Sakaar's throne was taken by a new power, Black Widow kicked Deadpool out of the Crown City. He wandered the Great Desert of Sakaar for days, eventually being discovered and apprehended by the Omega Flight. However, before he could be delivered to their Headquarters, an interdimensional rift opened up and both Deadpool and the accompanying agents fell into the Netherworld. There, Deadpool managed to convince several demons that he was the one in charge of Sakaar and got them to release him, promising to recreate for them the glory of Sakaar's gladiatoral games. However, his fraud was eventually uncovered when the same champion who took down Maestro came across Deadpool while in Hell. The demons wanted nothing to do with Deadpool after that and Omega Flight was able to take him into custody once again.[1]
